Minisforum is a well-respected brand among enthusiasts of SFF/Mini PCs. Their latest product, the UM870 Slim, continues their tradition of quality at an affordable price. The UM870 Slim measures 130 mm x 127 mm x 50 mm, with a volume of just 0.82 liters, living up to its "Slim" name.

The UM870 Slim is equipped with a 54 W Ryzen 7 8745H APU featuring 8 Zen 4 cores and 16 threads. This APU is similar to the Ryzen 7 8845HS, but lacks the AI capabilities of the XDNA NPU. Due to its compact size, the UM870 Slim relies on the integrated Radeon 780M GPU instead of discrete graphics. While it does not support OCuLink, it offers a variety of ports including an RJ-45 2.5 G Ethernet port, dual USB 2.0, dual USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, an audio jack, and a USB4 port.
