GIGABYTE Expands AORUS Infinity Series with New GeForce RTX 50-Series Graphics Cards
GIGABYTE has broadened its AORUS Infinity lineup, introducing three new custom-designed GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards. The latest additions include two models based on the GeForce RTX 5080 and one on the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. This expansion follows the debut of the flagship GeForce RTX 5090 AORUS Infinity, which was first unveiled at CES 2026 and became available in May.
Innovative Dual Flow-Through Cooler Architecture
The AORUS Infinity series showcases GIGABYTE’s interpretation of NVIDIA’s dual flow-through cooler architecture, originally introduced with the RTX 50-series Founders Edition cards. The design features a centrally located PCB housing the GPU, memory, and VRM, with breakout boards managing power, display I/O, and potentially the PCIe interface. This architecture aims to optimize cooling efficiency and overall performance.
GeForce RTX 5080 AORUS Infinity Wood: Unique Design and Performance
The GeForce RTX 5080 AORUS Infinity Wood stands out with its distinctive matte-white and beige wood two-tone color scheme on the cooler shroud, complemented by a real wood trim along the top edge. This aesthetic is designed to pair seamlessly with GIGABYTE’s Aero Wood series motherboards, such as the X870E Aero X3D Wood. Beyond its unique appearance, the card delivers a substantial factory overclock, reaching 2805 MHz on the core—significantly higher than the NVIDIA reference speed of 2617 MHz.
GeForce RTX 5080 AORUS Infinity: Classic Design, High Performance
The standard GeForce RTX 5080 AORUS Infinity offers the same impressive factory overclock as the Wood edition but features a design closely resembling the RTX 5090 AORUS Infinity. Thanks to the smaller PCB and reduced cooling requirements of the RTX 5080, this model is likely lighter than its RTX 5090 counterpart while maintaining top-tier performance.
GeForce RTX 5070 Ti AORUS Infinity: Premium Features for Mainstream GPUs
The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti AORUS Infinity shares its visual design with the RTX 5080 AORUS Infinity, as both are based on the GB203 silicon. While equipped with the slightly less powerful RTX 5070 Ti GPU and lower memory speeds, this card boasts GIGABYTE’s highest factory overclock for the RTX 5070 Ti, reaching 2670 MHz compared to the NVIDIA reference speed of 2452 MHz.
Advanced Cooling with WindForce Hyperburst
All three new AORUS Infinity graphics cards are equipped with GIGABYTE’s latest WindForce Hyperburst cooling solution. This system utilizes a dual flow-through design, thick axial airflow fans, a fan overdrive mode, and a composite metal thermal interface material (TIM) for the GPU. These features are engineered to deliver superior thermal performance and maintain stable operation even under demanding workloads.
While GIGABYTE has yet to release detailed images of the new models, comprehensive product information is now available on the company’s official website.
